Advocacy

Dr. Nick Pozek is an advocate for cultural exchange and peace education both internationally and at the local level. He serves on the advisory boards of educational organizations, including Actionable Innovations Global and Immersed Global, and is vice-chair of the Board of Trustees for Global Community Charter School, an International Baccalaureate school in New York’s Harlem neighborhood. He was a delegate to the United Nations Transforming Education Summit during the 77th General Assembly and received the International Green Teacher Award from Green Mentors in 2022 and 2024. He is an active member of the Global Alliance for Justice Education.
